GG_01 is born from the desire to dilute the boundaries between architecture and landscape. Inserted into the topography of the Gironès, the house is anchored to the land on one side and opens completely to the valley on the other, allowing light and the horizon to be an essential part of it. It is not just about inhabiting a space, but living a continuous relationship with the environment.
In a single floor of 200m², two volumes meet through the central axis, more step than boundary, more connection than separation. One of the bodies houses the common, open and fluid spaces mixed with the private rooms, balanced in size and privacy. All in all, a dialogue between full and empty, between shelter and expansion.
In the center, a courtyard, not as a void but as a heart. A place of respite, transition and connection. The volume does not impose, it adapts; it is not closed, but is allowed to be crossed by the nature that surrounds it. A subtle gesture, a serene presence, a way of belonging to the place without altering it.

From the entrance, the house reveals its depth through a play of transparencies. A glass panel beside the door hints at the patio beyond, while the central corridor, bathed in light, guides the transition between spaces. This passage is more than circulation—it connects every room, linking the diaphanous living area, kitchen, and dining room to the two outdoor spaces through large openings. Boundaries blur as light and views flow freely, creating a seamless dialogue between inside and out. Here, architecture is not just structure but movement, perception, and a continuous interplay of visual connections.
The rooms are conceived as havens of tranquility, protected by discreet entrances and facing exclusively the valley. This arrangement prevents daytime life from disturbing your calm, thanks to visual and acoustic barriers. The almost symmetrical bedrooms offer privacy; The master suite also enjoys its own dressing room. Next to the guest room, the common space articulates the kitchen, living room and dining room in an open environment, delimited by a perimeter wall with a fireplace, which suggests the connection with the outside. As an annex volume, the garage for two cars and the cellar, buried in the land, ensure constant freshness all year round.
